In this lesson for online entrepreneurs I would like to teach the owners of commercial websites how to get additional sales. This method has much in common with the one we’ve just considered, however, possesses its own peculiarities. 

Offer the client to purchase some other products after he makes an order and pays for it. This is the very essence of the method in question. It has been used by sales experts for a long time already and proved to be effective not only for online business, but also in other spheres of entrepreneurship. Let’s suppose that a person who buys jeans is given an advertising leaflet which has the information about a wide range of shirts in this very shop. Despite the fact that leaflet cost is low, sales level will increase almost immediately. And it has been proved by numerous entrepreneur training experiments!

However, if you sale digital products and provide immediate delivery of these products, it will be much easier for you to apply the method described. When your client pays for the order, offer him to purchase another product from this web page. It would be expedient to make a profitable offer a short-term one that would be available for 30 days or so. It means that the client will be able to take advantage of this offer within 30 days since his main order.

It is also reasonable to send email, where special offer is described to your client after he pays for his order. Send a notification to your client 7 days before the offer expires. In one way or another, show your client that you value him a lot and are ready to make a lot of profitable offers in order to keep him interested.

There is no need to worry if you don’t have the additional product or service package. It would be enough to establish partnership with some other entrepreneurs and to offer their products as additional ones. You can become affiliate member of successful entrepreneurs. There is no doubt about the fact that it will be profitable. The more additional products you offer, the more money you get respectively. It’s obvious that additional products or services must be related to your goods and services and never be their alternative. Let’s suppose that you are one of entrepreneurs, who offer web hosting services or sell domain names. Thus, you can also offer your clients various website promotion programs, internet marketing tools, search engine marketing services or even entrepreneur training courses of your partners. Other entrepreneurs may also decide to do the same and offer your services to their clients. Acting in such a way, you will manage to establish mutually beneficial partnership with other entrepreneurs.
